So how do concrete batching plants work?

  • Raw materials such as cements and aggregates are removed from the areas where they are stored in accordance with their physical conditions. They are transferred to the dosing and weighing system in the plant.
  • After the components are weighed, they are placed in the concrete mixer. This mixer can be a stationary batching compound in the plant or a mixing truck.
  • After mixing, the fresh concrete is loaded onto mixer trucks for transportation. In dry batching plants, the materials (except water) are mixed in the truck during transportation.
  • Mixer trucks transport the concrete to the construction site. These trucks have rotating drums to prevent the concrete from hardening during transportation.
