FABO Horizontal Screens are a combination of quality, reliability and performance; ensures a long service life when operating under the toughest applications. Customers today demand tighter specifications for precision shaped aggregate or closely sized stone products. As a result, tighter control over the process is extremely important and the most effective point in doing this is scanning.
FABO Horizontal Screens generate power with a three-shaft impact mechanism located in the center of the screen body with eccentric counterweights. The combination of the three-shaft provides an oval stroke with adjustable amplitude, speed and operating angle determined by the application. The oval stroke screen action combines the best features of the circle and straight line shot in a unique oval stroke and it takes advantage of the screening of the circle shot with the carry motion of the straight line. This provides optimum alignment and maximum possibility of material passage through the screen openings. Adjusting the stroke angle has been found to be most effective in optimizing screen efficiency. Higher stroke angles increase the chance of material passing through openings and also increase the impact to shake off fines. Lowering the stroke angle increases travel speed for heavy scanning or scaling operations. Sometimes higher speed is required for the scalping task
